Dealership Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dealership Accountant to join our team at Command Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the accounts function, delivering timely and accurate management accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within the motor industry, with previous experience in a car dealership and a strong understanding of Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar accounting packages. You will be responsible for:

  • Monthly management accounts, providing detailed analysis and commentary
  • Collation and examination of purchase and sales ledger information
  • Supervision of accounts staff and sales administrators
  • Analytical support across the business, evaluating profit optimisation
  • Monitoring performance measurement tools and techniques
  • Review of capital and project appraisals
  • Consolidation of group budgets and forecasts

  • Proven track record within the motor industry
  • Previous accountancy experience in a car dealership and Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar accounting package
  • Strong written and communication skills
