Job Title: Director of Quality and Student Experience

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Director of Quality and Student Experience for the School of Health and Care. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the quality and student experience elements of the School's business plan, ensuring alignment with the wider Education Group Strategy and contributing positively to the Teaching Excellence and Student outcomes Framework (TEF).

About the Role

The Director of Quality and Student Experience will be responsible for ensuring outstanding student experience throughout the School's transformation. This will involve regular review of the school's business plan, making performance improvements where necessary, and ensuring the School's Senior Leadership team's focus on delivering education that achieves agreed teaching and learning metrics and focuses on student experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student experience and satisfaction
  • Support and contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum, transnational education partnerships, and international commercial projects
  • Collaborate with relevant professional bodies and regulators and maintain partnerships with external organisations in relation to teaching, learning, and assessment, student satisfaction, and experience and quality and accreditation
  • Lead and implement good practice in quality and student experience
Requirements
  • A PhD plus experience in the relevant subject area or an equivalent level of professional experience alongside a postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject
  • Recognised teaching qualification in Higher Education and/or recognition against the UK professional standards framework
  • Extensive evidence of leadership within a Health and Care and education sector. Hold professional registration
