About the Role

Websters Rural is seeking a highly skilled Senior Farm Business Consultant to join their team. As a Senior Farm Business Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering a wide range of consultancy services to farmers throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver consultancy services to farmers, providing expert advice on farm business management and development.
  • Conduct comprehensive farm business appraisals, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for growth.
  • Manage Basic Payment Scheme and grant applications, ensuring farmers receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Compile reports and budgets for various agreements, providing farmers with a clear understanding of their financial situation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team.
  • Combination of practical and farm business experience, with a deep understanding of the agricultural industry.
  • Knowledge of DEFRA regulations and experience in arable/livestock sectors (desirable).
  • FACTS and BASIS qualifications (desirable).
