We are recruiting for a Van Driver/Postal Worker to work for Meriden Media in Newark, collecting mail and packages from destinations across the local area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collect mail and packages from various locations.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet operational targets.
Requirements:
- A full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- A strong sense of community and ability to work in a flexible environment.
- Good physical fitness and ability to walk multiple miles per day.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
About the Role:
- This is a temporary, ongoing position with the possibility of becoming permanent.
- Shifts will be Monday to Friday, 14:30 to 18:30 with 20 hours per week.
- Hourly rate: £13.37 per hour.
