Job Title: Electrical Engineering Professional for Control and Automation

Location: Barrow-in-Furness, United Kingdom

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineering professional to join our team as a control and automation specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with control systems. A salary of £70000 - £90000 per annum is expected based on the location and job requirements.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled electrical engineering professional to lead the development and implementation of control and automation systems for our projects.

  • Developing and managing control and automation systems for our projects, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  • Designing and implementing control and automation systems, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  • Producing documentation required to support the design review process, including diagrams, technical specifications, supporting calculations, design evidence, and test documentation.
  • Installing relevant systems to the design documentation, ensuring all work is done safely and to all relevant standards.
  • Ensuring compliance against contractual requirements and that work is undertaken in accordance with company, safety, environmental, contractual, and local business processes, standards, procedures, and documentation.

You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of control and automation systems for our projects. This includes designing, testing, and implementing control and automation systems to meet project requirements.

Your skills and experience should include:

  • A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background.
  • Experience in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system verification test design, or parts specification would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle and technical specialties.
  • Working towards relevant Professional Registration is advantageous.

Please note that security clearance will be required for this role. You must be a UK citizen and lived in the UK continuously for at least the past 7 years.
