Matchtech is seeking an Electrical Engineering Specialist to join their team in the Test & Facilities (T&F) Hardware Team. This permanent position will involve working on electrical/electronic communication and control systems for the Dreadnought submarine build.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical/Electronic installation for Comms and C&I test facilities
  • Design of Test Infrastructure and Hardware
  • Write and produce technical documents
  • Execute testing and commissioning of installed systems in a high assurance engineering environment

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience, good technical background in complex engineering industries, and technical knowledge in Communications Systems or Control & Instrumentation.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

Essential requirements include a degree in a relevant STEM discipline, good technical background in complex engineering industries, and technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Communications Systems or Control & Instrumentation.

Desirable Qualifications

Desirable qualifications include Chartered Engineer status, membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, or working towards CEng. Experience in Test and Acceptance within a high assurance engineering environment is also desirable.
