Automation Specialist

We are seeking an Automation Specialist to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness, working on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in control systems engineering.
The salary for this role is approximately £38,000 per annum, with a competitive pension and enhanced leave allowance of 25 days plus additional benefits.
About the RoleThe C&I Engineer – Systems will be responsible for supporting the development of integration, testing, and validation of complex systems within the Submarine division. This involves ensuring that a safe product is developed and delivered.
Requirements- A relevant STEM degree or equivalent qualification and engineering background.
- Keenness to learn and develop skillset.
- Knowledge of MathWorks toolsets, particularly in the development of control system models.
