Conference Coordinator

At Hire Ground, we're seeking a highly organized Conference Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in central London, this role offers a unique blend of office-based work and remote collaboration.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative position, preferably within the events industry. This is a hybrid position, where you'll be working from the office for 1-2 days per week.
In this role, you'll support the planning and delivery of conferences, meetings, and events across multiple digital platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Pre-event preparation, including setting up events on CRM and digital CMS, preparing event materials, and performing other ad-hoc duties as required.
- Administering post-event follow-up, including attendee feedback surveys and thank-you messages to speakers, sponsors, and suppliers.
- Collaborating with the events and marketing assistant for all inquiries relating to webinars, hybrid, and in-person events via email and phone.
- Managing the CRM and digital CMS to ensure data records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assisting with on-site management of events, including greeting and registering delegates, dealing with queries, assisting speakers and sponsors, liaising with venue and AV staff, and breaking down the event.
- Managing the conferences inbox and responding to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Sourcing materials for marketing purposes ahead of events, such as speaker images and biographies.
We're offering a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience.
