Strategic Advisor for Government Relations

About the OpportunityThis is a unique chance to make a lasting impact by leveraging your expertise in policy development and stakeholder engagement. As a Strategic Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policy strategies, building relationships with key decision-makers, and communicating the benefits of design-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and managing policy strategies to support the Design Council's mission and goals
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and thought influencers
- Communicating the value of design in driving positive change, through reports, briefs, and other written materials
- Representing the Design Council at external events, conferences, and meetings
- Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., politics, public policy, international relations)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in policy development and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
We offer a competitive salary range: £65,000 - £85,000 per year, depending on experience.
