Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Government Relations Director to join our team. As a key member of our Government Communications Advisory team, you will provide strategic counsel and oversee the development of communication strategies for public sector and governmental clients. Your expertise in crisis communication and reputation management will be essential in this role.

About You
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of governmental operations, political sensitivities, and public policy issues in the GCC region. A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field (Master's preferred) is required, along with proven experience in a senior communications advisory role, ideally within an agency or consultancy setting. You should have a strong network within media, public sector stakeholders, and related industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive communication strategies tailored to government and public sector clients.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior government stakeholders, offering insights and solutions for effective communication challenges.
  • Design and implement public awareness and engagement campaigns for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and international media outlets.
  • Provide clients with expertise in managing communication during crises.

What We Offer
A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
