About the Role

We are looking for an experienced pharmacy dispenser to join our team in Lancashire, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing health advice and services to our patients across various store locations.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality customer service and ensuring that patients feel informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  • Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions.
  • Working closely with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
  • Conducting regular quality checks to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications.
  • Developing and implementing processes to minimize dispensing losses and optimize efficiency.

You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional patient care and support the success of our business.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Either an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services or completion of the first year of an Mpharm course at university.
  • Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for customer care and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
