Job Overview: Disability Equality (NW) Ltd is a leading provider of homecare services, and we are currently seeking a Daily Life Assistant to join our team. As a Daily Life Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals in their daily lives, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking.
  • Help with general domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Manage medication during meal times.

Salary and Benefits: The hourly rate for this position is £12, plus 5.6 weeks of paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme. This is a part-time position working up to 18 hours per week, with an estimated salary of approximately £20,160 per annum.

About the Role: As a Daily Life Assistant, you will be working closely with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences. You will need to be empathetic and understanding, and able to communicate effectively with clients who may have complex needs. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects safely.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients. You will also need to be able to work independently and make decisions about how to best support clients in their daily lives.
