Personal Support Assistant

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Assistant to join our team at Disability Equality (NW) Ltd. As a Personal Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily life tasks, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and general domestic duties
- Support with medication management during meal times
- Provide training on the use of hoists and manual handling
**Work Environment:**
This is a part-time position, working up to 18 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, and may be expected to travel to various locations within Lancashire.
**Salary and Benefits:**
The hourly rate for this position is £12, with 5.6 weeks of paid annual leave and access to a workplace pension scheme.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. A full driving licence is also essential.
