Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join our team at John Sisk and Son. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of MEP systems across designated large and multiple smaller scale projects. This will involve working closely with our Regional Director/Regional MEP Lead to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and meet our Zero objectives of safety, quality, and energy.

As an MEP Lead, you will have the opportunity to guide, lead, and motivate your teams in the application of our MEP management systems. This will involve achieving our objective to deliver consistent, fully integrated, and commissioned MEP systems that meet the specified design and statutory requirements, leading to seamless handover with the building systems performing to the client's satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the application of the Building Services Department Management Systems and Procedures, providing technical support, guidance, and direction in the overall delivery of projects.
  • Support the Building Services 'Value Proposition' and its alignment with the Business Units and Company's Vision, Values, and Ambition Objectives.
  • Assist in the delivery of the Building Services Strategy Plan in support of the Business Units Objectives.
  • Support all aspects associated with the MEP Technical and Commercial parts of the overall Project Bid, executed in accordance with the Company's Pre-Construction Manual Procedures.
  • Provide guidance in the tender and award of MEP packages in accordance with the required contract Pre-Construction and procurement strategy, and objectives.
  • Ensure MEP teams ascertain Temporary Electrical requirements for their projects, including load and energy assessments in line with the Management System Guidelines.
Qualifications/Training

The successful candidate will have:
  • A Mechanical or Electrical Academic/MEP Technical related Qualification.
  • Membership of an industry-related Professional institution, such as CIBSE/CIOB/IEI or equivalent.
  • IOSH or equivalent H&S Management Training.
  • Live Energies/Arc Flash Training.
  • A Higher Diploma or Degree in a Technical or Construction-related Subject.
  • Achieved professional accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineer at MCIBSE level or equivalent.
