Job Summary:

The Work Lyf Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join their QHSE team. The ideal candidate will have experience in rail safety critical environments and a strong understanding of legal and industry responsibilities. This role will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to staff, interpreting relevant legislation, and supporting operational teams with risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert advice and support to staff at all levels of the business
  • Interpreting relevant legislation, codes of practice, and guidance to relay to relevant staff
  • Supporting operational teams with risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Documenting and investigating accidents, implementing improvements
  • Undertaking occupational exposure monitoring and providing risk management advice
  • Assisting with HSE Audits and Assessment Plans
  • Proactively identifying areas of non-compliance and improvement
  • Developing and delivering HSE training
  • Coordinating and facilitating safety committee meetings
  • Producing and reporting metrics

Qualifications:
  • Minimum level 3 Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH National Certificate)
  • Minimum Tech IOSH, preferred Cert IOSH or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
