**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young adults, particularly those with additional needs.

**Salary:** £28,000 - £40,000 per annum

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of young people aged 8-16 with additional needs. You will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Supporting children with additional needs, including those with ASD, SEMH / Challenging Behaviour
  2. Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation
  3. Creating engaging and interactive learning activities for children
  4. Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working with children and young adults, particularly those with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and empathetic approach to working with children
  • A commitment to consistent and effective support
