We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Specialist to join our Supported Living Service in CV5. As a Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, empowering them to live meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support people with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using person-centred approaches to enable positive outcomes as defined in their support plan.
  • Administer medication, cook, clean, and manage paperwork while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Provide emotional and practical support, helping individuals access community facilities and participate in mainstream activities.
  • Built robust relationships to promote independence, improve quality of life, and empower individuals to learn new skills or pursue hobbies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the care industry, ICSs, or equivalent is essential.
  • Must have experience with Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care, and Challenging Behaviours.
  • The ability to multitask, with good time management, organization, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • IT literacy and a positive attitude towards making a difference in people's lives.
  • Good communication skills and a compassionate, caring personality.
