Job Opportunity: Deputy Director for Endoscopy Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Deputy Director for Endoscopy Administration at Stsft. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join our team and make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a leadership position within our Trust, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of administrative functions across two Endoscopy units. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring performance against key performance indicators, ensuring compliance with policy and targets, and providing assurance to senior stakeholders.

The post holder will work closely with consultants, Clinical Directors, and senior managers from both Surgery and Gastroenterology Directorates to achieve diagnostic waiting times in line with national guidance. They will also be responsible for capacity and demand management, targeted action planning, and close liaison with Performance and Information Services teams to ensure adequate reporting and data provision.

An estimated salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role and the level of expertise required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and change management skills, with a proven track record of managing staff, meeting tight deadlines, and working effectively under pressure. They will have experience of waiting list management, scheduling, and pathway coordinating, as well as a working knowledge of Meditech V6.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in waiting list management and scheduling
