Key Responsibilities- Process and code GBS invoices for daily processing on the purchase ledger
- Assist in producing payments packs to suppliers and ad hoc payments
- Complete regular supplier statement reconciliations, investigate queries, and chase missing invoices
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by the purchase ledger supervisor to assist in general duties
- Assist the Treasury department when necessary
- Experience in purchase ledger duties with good knowledge of invoice processing and payments
- Knowledge of internal controls in a purchase ledger
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to deadlines
- Computerised accounting purchase-ledger experience is not essential but desirable
- High attention to detail and logical approach to processing
- Sound working knowledge of MS Windows-based software packages, especially Excel
