Crowe UK LLP is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and code GBS invoices for daily processing on the purchase ledger
  • Assist in producing payments packs to suppliers and ad hoc payments
  • Complete regular supplier statement reconciliations, investigate queries, and chase missing invoices
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by the purchase ledger supervisor to assist in general duties
  • Assist the Treasury department when necessary
Requirements
  • Experience in purchase ledger duties with good knowledge of invoice processing and payments
  • Knowledge of internal controls in a purchase ledger
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to deadlines
  • Computerised accounting purchase-ledger experience is not essential but desirable
  • High attention to detail and logical approach to processing
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Windows-based software packages, especially Excel
