About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a Network Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Maintenance and Support: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the stability and security of our network infrastructure, including monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing patches and upgrades.
  • Network Security: Develop and implement robust security measures to protect our network from cyber threats, including configuring firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement new network infrastructure to support business growth and expansion, including configuring routers, switches, and other network devices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and security, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on network-related projects and initiatives.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Analyze complex network issues and develop effective solutions to resolve problems and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP. Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. CCNA or higher certification preferred.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and develop effective solutions.
