About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Network Design Engineer to join our team at Ubique Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing technical solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions that meet our clients' requirements.
  • Collaborate with our project delivery team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and surveys to inform design decisions.
  • Design and implement telecoms engineering solutions.
  • Produce clear and concise calculations, reports, and sketches.
  • Communicate design philosophy and requirements to team members.
  • Work within the principles of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
  • Attend design team meetings and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in process improvements and design tool development.
  • Promote safe working practices and a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Experience in rail network design and telecoms engineering.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and project delivery processes.
  • Ability to work within BIM principles and collaborate with project delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with design tools and software.
