Teaching Personnel is seeking a Graduate Teacher to support secondary schools in York. As a Graduate Future Teacher, you will deliver lessons in absence of the class teacher, ensuring each pupil stays on task and completes the work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons in absence of the class teacher
  • Ensure pupils stay on task and complete work
  • Collect work but not required to mark it

Requirements:

  • Confidence to lead classes
  • BSc or BA Degree with subject specialism
  • Previous experience leading classes or volunteer days to increase experience
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service
  • Flexibility to work across KS3 – KS4 classes
  • Good behaviour management
