Modern Languages Graduate - Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Modern Languages Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting and support the development of students in a Modern Languages-related subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist class teachers in planning and preparing learning resources to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Use a variety of teaching styles and methods to engage students and cater to their individual learning needs.
  • Develop schemes of work and personalized study support programs to support student progress.
  • Mark class work and homework thoroughly and constructively to help students improve their standards of achievement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Modern Languages from a top UK university.
  • Strong academic record, including excellent GCSE and A-Level results.
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable.
