Exciting Opportunity for a Data Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Data Coordinator to join our Customer Services Team at Northern Powergrid. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of asset data, supporting the delivery of our vision to be the best energy company in serving our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all record updates associated with Capex and Opex work at all voltages, including data adopted from ICPs and IDNOs.
  • Ensure that all asset updates are received into the business on a timely basis and are of a satisfactory quality to meet our regulatory and statutory requirements prior to the updating of our corporate asset management systems.
  • Manage and log data using Microsoft and business-specific applications and systems.
  • Liaise directly with Northern Powergrid project managers and service providers to obtain information and address quality assurance concerns.
  • Support and advise our off-shore partner Cyient on data management matters.
Requirements:
  • Minimum qualification of 2 A-Levels C or above OR NVQ Level 3 OR ONC in Business Management.
  • Good understanding of the assets owned and maintained by Northern Powergrid and how electrical distribution networks operate.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft applications.
  • GIS Qualification.
  • Knowledge of Northern Powergrid's existing asset management systems.
