About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Coordinator to join our Customer Services Team at Northern Powergrid. As a Data Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of asset data site records associated with the creation, removal, and updating of Northern Powergrid's assets in our corporate asset management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all asset data site records associated with the creation, removal, and updating of Northern Powergrid's assets in the corporate asset management systems.
  • Ensure all new asset changes associated with the Operations business unit, including their service providers, are received from site.
  • Audit and quantify the data received from site.
  • Manage and log the data using Microsoft and business-specific applications and systems.
  • Liaise directly with Northern Powergrid project managers and service providers to obtain information and address quality assurance concerns and assist with any training requirements.
  • Ensure our off-shore partner Cyient receives good quality data in a timely manner.
  • Support and advise Cyient on data management matters.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualification of 2 A-Levels C or above OR NVQ Level 3 OR ONC in Business Management.
  • A good understanding of the assets owned and maintained by Northern Powergrid and how electrical distribution networks operate.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft applications.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good at problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to work solo or as part of a team.
