About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer and Trading Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Work closely with other managers to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth
  • Manage and develop a team of colleagues to achieve their full potential

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software
