We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Administrator to join our team at Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to showcase their skills in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary of up to £23,419.50 per annum, based on 37.5 hours per week. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for efficiently administering a large caseload of patients from referral to discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure complex administration meets all required standards and timescales.
  • To manage, appraise, and interpret data, information, and/or situations.
  • To handle all enquiries or queries raised efficiently and effectively, escalating appropriately where necessary.
  • To ensure accurate and efficient entry, modification, maintenance, and presentation of data using electronic systems.
  • To prepare reports as requested by the department.
  • To provide clinic support, including appointment bookings, changes, room/consultant availability coordination, consultant/GP partnerships, and creating, altering, or cancelling clinics as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, who can prioritise and organise a workload of changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, along with good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and bespoke database systems.
