Supportive Educational Assistant

As a Supportive Educational Assistant, you'll work closely with our experienced teachers to design and deliver personalized support programs that help students thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to identify areas where students require additional support, developing targeted strategies to address these needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons, using a range of techniques to engage students and promote learning.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs, ensuring that students receive consistent and effective support throughout their educational journey.
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes social cohesion.
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality support services are essential qualities for this role.
- Certifications or qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable but not mandatory.
- A competitive salary of around £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
