Company Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a special educational needs (SEN) school. The school is located in Birmingham, and the position involves supporting children with a wide range of learning difficulties, including moderate, severe, and profound multiple learning difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN and be able to provide 1:1 support or work within small groups. Personal care may be involved. We offer a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Salary

£90 per day, full-time contract, term time only.

Job Description

This role involves supporting children aged 3-11 years with various learning needs. You will work closely with teachers to develop strategies that cater to each child's individual requirements. Your duties may include assisting with lessons, providing one-on-one support, and helping with personal care tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

6 months' experience in the UK, previous experience in a similar setting, Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, and enhanced DBS clearance.
