Careers Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Careers Advisor to join our team at PeoplePlus. As a Careers Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to adults from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate various opportunities, including learning, career paths, and employment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of learners, creating SMART action plans to support their career goals.
- Provide high-quality advice and guidance to adults, helping them overcome potential barriers and make informed decisions about their future career paths.
- Work collaboratively with local Restart centers, community venues, and employer settings to deliver support services.
- Utilize video calls, telephone calls, and remote working to provide flexible support to learners.
- Meet individual and team performance targets, working towards defined learning and job outcomes.
- IAG Qualification Level 2 or above is essential, with a willingness to complete our fully funded Level 3/4 IAG qualification.
- Level 3 qualification in Careers Information & Advice (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in teaching, presenting, financial performance, and target monitoring.
- Knowledge of ESFA and ESF funding requirements is beneficial.
- Substantial vocational experience within the IAG sector is advantageous.
- Full UK driving license and own vehicle are required.
