About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Careers Advisor to join our team at PeoplePlus. As a Careers Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to adults from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate various opportunities, including learning, career paths, and employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of learners, creating SMART action plans to support their career goals.
  • Provide high-quality advice and guidance to adults, helping them overcome potential barriers and make informed decisions about their future.
  • Work in local Restart centers, community venues, employer settings, or remotely using video calls or telephone calls.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve individual and team performance targets.
Requirements
  • IAG Qualification Level 2 or above is essential, with a willingness to complete our fully funded Level 3/4 IAG qualification once in role.
  • Excellent use of IT, particularly in relation to teaching, presenting, financial performance, and target monitoring.
  • Knowledge and experience of ESFA and ESF funding requirements would be beneficial.
  • Substantial vocational experience within the IAG sector would be beneficial.
  • Full UK Driving License and own vehicle.
