Divisional Engineering Project Manager

As a key member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD). This exciting opportunity will see you lead strategic improvement projects, managing project planning, scheduling, risk, and resource management, budgeting, and coordination from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead LCD's Divisional Engineering strategic improvement projects implementation
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, risk, and resource management, budgeting, and coordination
  • Develop and implement quality processes to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Collaborate with local site teams to ensure safety, compliance, and quality assurance
  • Develop the team's skills and proficiencies while building an early asset management model as a standardized process
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree / equivalent in Engineering with appropriate experience
  • Previous experience in large and multifunctional Project Management Engineering experience
  • Working internationally across numerous sites in different regions
  • Familiarity with COMAH / DSEAR / ATEX and OSHA regulations
  • Chemical manufacturing / FMCG
  • PPI / Six Sigma / World Class Manufacturing
  • Validation Protocols
  • Experience working in a union environment and/or matrix organization
