Desk Bound Estimator

Our client, a Specialist Mechanical Door Engineering Company, is seeking a skilled Desk Bound Estimator to join their office team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for progressing sales enquiries through to quotations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Internal Team Communication: Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Capturing & Recording Engineer Commissions: Accurately capture and record engineer commissions to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Leading in Quotes & Orders Fast Turnarounds: Expedite quotes and orders to meet customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Following up Quotes & Orders: Regularly follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of quotations and orders.
  • Maximising Sales Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Obtaining Materials / Goods / Equipment Quotes: Obtain quotes for materials, goods, and equipment to ensure accurate pricing and cost control.
  • Attend Health & Safety Meetings: Participate in health and safety meetings to ensure compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Support Marketing Campaigns & Digital Media: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and digital media initiatives.
  • Support with Regional Admin (when required): Provide administrative support to the regional team as needed.
  • Out of Hours Rota: Participate in an out-of-hours rota to ensure 24/7 coverage and customer support.
  • Customer Enquiries: Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Managing Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and retention.
  • Achieving Monthly Sales Target: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets to drive revenue growth.
  • Dealing with Customer Issues: Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS): Ensure adherence to quality management systems to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Ordering Goods / Equipment / Materials: Order goods, equipment, and materials as required to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
  • Call Handling: Handle customer calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Dealing with Customer Issues: Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS): Participate in risk assessment method statements to ensure compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS): Ensure adherence to quality management systems to ensure high-quality products and services.
