About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desk Bound Estimator to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a Desk Bound Estimator, you will be responsible for taking sales enquiries and progressing them through to a quotation to be submitted to customers in accordance with the estimating rules and in line with pricing policies and targeted timeframes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Internal Team Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Capturing & Recording Engineer Commissions: Accurately capture and record engineer commissions to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Leading in Quotes & Orders Fast Turnarounds: Lead the process of generating quotes and orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Following up Quotes & Orders: Follow up on quotes and orders to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion.
  • Maximising Sales Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Obtaining Materials / Goods / Equipment Quotes: Obtain quotes for materials, goods, and equipment to ensure accurate pricing and delivery.
  • Attend Health & Safety Meetings: Attend health and safety meetings to ensure compliance and awareness.
  • Support Marketing Campaigns & Digital Media: Support marketing campaigns and digital media initiatives to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Support with Regional Admin (when required): Provide administrative support to regional teams as needed.
  • Out of Hours Rota: Participate in out-of-hours rota to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Customer Enquiries: Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Managing Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and retention.
  • Achieving Monthly Sales Target: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets to drive revenue growth.
  • Dealing with Customer Issues: Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS): Ensure compliance with quality management systems to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Ordering Goods / Equipment / Materials: Order goods, equipment, and materials to ensure timely delivery and accurate pricing.
  • Call Handling: Handle customer calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Dealing with Customer Issues: Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS): Conduct risk assessments and create method statements to ensure safe working practices.
  • Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS): Ensure compliance with quality management systems to ensure high-quality products and services.
