Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our radiotherapy team at the Exeter Oncology Centre. As a therapeutic radiographer, you will play a vital role in the delivery of a safe and high-quality radiotherapy service.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work under the direct supervision of registered practitioners to participate in the preparation of bespoke treatment plans, treatment delivery, quality assurance of treatment plans and radiotherapy equipment, and the wider holistic care of patients undergoing treatment.

This is an exciting opportunity to start a career in a highly rewarding allied health profession, combining a high standard of patient care with advanced technical skills.

Successful completion of the training will allow you to register as a qualified therapeutic radiographer with the HCPC.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Participating in the delivery of a safe and high-quality radiotherapy service
  • Preparing bespoke treatment plans and delivering treatment
  • Quality assurance of treatment plans and radiotherapy equipment
  • Providing holistic care to patients undergoing treatment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Maths and English GCSE grade C/4 qualifications
  • Meet the university course entry requirements
