Apprentice Therapeutic Radiographer Opportunity

We are excited to offer an apprenticeship opportunity for an individual to join our radiotherapy team at the Exeter Oncology Centre.

This apprenticeship will provide a unique chance to start a career in a highly rewarding allied health profession, combining patient care with advanced technical skills. You will undertake on-the-job training alongside BSc study with the University of the West of England (UWE) over a 36-month period.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work under the direct supervision of registered practitioners to participate in the delivery of a safe and high-quality radiotherapy service. The training will be academically challenging, but you will be fully supported to develop the required skills and knowledge.

Successful completion of the training will enable you to register as a qualified therapeutic radiographer with the HCPC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the delivery of a safe and high-quality radiotherapy service
  • Undertake on-the-job training alongside BSc study
  • Work under the direct supervision of registered practitioners
Requirements
  • GCSE grade C/4 in Maths and English
