About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Executive to join our team at InterSystems UKI. As a key member of our UKI Executive team, you will be responsible for leading our clinical efforts and working closely with our Product, Sales, and Implementation teams to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide clinical expertise and strategic guidance to our Executive leadership and product development teams on healthcare trends, analytics, and quality measures.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with national organizations, such as the Department of Health and NHS Transformation Unit, to provide strategic insight and guidance on behalf of InterSystems.
  • Technical Expertise: Review medical informatics trends, experiences, and approaches, and develop technical and application implementation strategies to support our healthcare data integration solutions.
  • Business Development: Provide healthcare technology expertise to our product, sales, and marketing management teams to ensure the successful positioning of our industry solutions and go-to-market tactics.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and provide market-driven information for product strategy and development direction through direct interaction with customers, prospects, analysts, and other external resources.
  • Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with partners, key consultancies, and system integrators to establish focused and effective strategic teaming arrangements.
  • Representation: Represent InterSystems to clinical societies, advocacy groups, and medical advisory boards to promote our healthcare solutions.
  • Strategy Execution: Deliver the InterSystems strategy to senior leaders and peers in the UK healthcare market, and direct strategic issues, investment, or partnering decisions, and actions regarding key regulatory demands and requirements.
  • Clinical Input: Provide clinical and product input to all InterSystems and customer teams to increase clinical knowledge and adoption, and be involved in bids and demonstrations of our products.
Requirements
  • Clinical Expertise: Possess a strong grasp of clinical workflow in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and have an interest in health information systems and outcomes measurement.
  • Leadership Skills: Be a strong leader with a mature sense of priorities and solid practical experience, able to design and implement systems within the framework of technical boundaries.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with a diversity of personalities, and be approachable and present data with effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Domain Knowledge: Have direct experience with healthcare analytics, clinical decision support systems, evidence-based medicine, clinical quality measures, and electronic health record systems.
  • Clinical Credibility: Have clinical domain knowledge and credibility within the healthcare community.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and time management skills.
  • Health IT Experience: Have experience in the planning, selection, implementation, and performance assessment of health IT solutions.
