Litigation Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Litigation Handler to join our esteemed firm, Gallagher, in Blisworth or Tamworth. As a Litigation Handler, you will play a pivotal role in driving our firm's success by defending litigated motor claims on behalf of large corporates.
Key Responsibilities- Defending litigated motor claims from issue to trial, including personal injury/property damage, credit hire, LVI, and fraud.
- Assessing liability and setting and maintaining reserves in accordance with client service level agreements and client key performance indicators.
- Investigating the merits of third-party claims and negotiating with third parties, third-party insurers, and third-party solicitors to achieve the best client outcome.
- Valuing general and special damages and ensuring full compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and client key performance indicators.
- Working within and supporting the litigation team to achieve and maintain full compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and client key performance indicators.
- Delegating and supervising tasks to Claims Administration Assistants and ensuring full compliance with financial transactions, client service level agreements, and client key performance indicators.
We are looking for a Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, with additional certifications or qualifications a plus. Proven experience in handling litigated motor cases, preferably within a corporate setting, is essential. Strong knowledge of motor insurance law, regulations, and legal procedures is required.
