Litigation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Specialist to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a Litigation Specialist, you will be responsible for defending litigated motor claims on behalf of large corporates from issue to trial. This will include assessing liability and setting and maintaining reserves in accordance with client service level agreements and client key performance indicators.
You will also be responsible for investigating the merits of third-party claims, negotiating with third parties, third-party insurers, and third-party solicitors to achieve the best client outcome. Additionally, you will be required to value general and special damages, ensure full compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and client key performance indicators, and achieve 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, proven experience in handling litigated motor cases, preferably within a corporate setting, and strong knowledge of motor insurance law, regulations, and legal procedures.
