About the Role

Kenton Black Ltd is a leading provider of civil engineering services, specializing in delivering infrastructure projects and frameworks for private clients and local authorities. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our team in the South Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement and contracts for infrastructure projects, including highways, public realm, and water infrastructure schemes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and implement effective risk management strategies

Requirements

  • Strong background in procurement and contracts management, preferably in the civil engineering sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and contracts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
