Payments Specialist

MW Recruitment is seeking a skilled Payments Specialist to join our team. As a Payments Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payment systems. Your primary responsibility will be to document and assess the effectiveness of controls related to CHAPS, a key payment scheme in the UK. You will work closely with our team to identify and mitigate risks associated with CHAPS, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise in risk and controls will be essential in developing and implementing effective controls to prevent and detect potential risks. Additionally, you will provide support to our first line of defence in identifying and managing risks. If you have a strong background in finance, economics, or accounting, and experience in the financial services industry, particularly in SWIFT and CHAPS payment processing, we encourage you to apply. Your project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with our team will be valuable assets in this role. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can provide high-quality support to our team.
