Job Title: HR Manager

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

About the Role:

This is a crucial position that requires the development and implementation of human resource practices and initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislation across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and supporting the Christian ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, including recruitment, training, and retention plans.
  • Provide HR support to line managers on various employee relations matters.
  • Act as an advisor on recruitment, ensuring job descriptions and personnel specifications are up-to-date and compliant with legal standards.
  • Create and implement training programs on key HR initiatives, such as recruitment, absence management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Generate HR reports for Councils and Committees on labour turnover, recruitment, and absence management.
  • Assist in general HR queries, deputise for the Head of Human Resources, and supervise HR staff as needed.
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with at least two years of generalist HR experience, including significant experience in managing complex discipline and grievance cases.
