Job Summary

The International and Partnerships Manager will play a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of international activities at a strategic level. This will involve managing, coordinating, and facilitating an extensive portfolio of international activities across the University, including developing and drafting partnership agreements, and providing information and guidance on partnerships and international activities internally for staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow international partnerships and collaborations
  • Manage and coordinate international activities, including events, projects, and partnerships
  • Provide information and guidance on partnerships and international activities to staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including international partners and guests
  • Collate, analyse, and manage information to support the effective and efficient delivery of international activities
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
  • Project management qualification and/or experience
  • Understanding and demonstrable experience of working in an international education and/or research environment, including specific experience of working with China partners/in China
  • Experience of decision-making at an operational level, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously as well as knowing when to engage peers and colleagues
  • Experience of driving and delivering business improvements and efficiencies to enhance quality, engagement, and service delivery to assure future sustainability
  • Understanding and demonstrable experience of excellent customer service practices and delivery of a quality service to internal and external stakeholders
