About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at South Place Hotel. As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading the pastry brigade and delivering exceptional, 5-star service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pastry brigade to deliver outstanding food and exceptional service to guests.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and restaurant management team to ensure consistent high standards in both service and kitchen management.
  • Develop and implement new pastry menus and recipes to enhance the guest experience.
  • Manage and maintain a high level of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Train and develop junior pastry chefs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.

Our hotel features 80 guest rooms, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and five bars, as well as a stunning Secret Garden and rooftop terrace overlooking the Capital.

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of food quality and presentation.
