Assess Student Performance in Economics

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Economics A Level Examiner to evaluate student responses based on the established mark scheme for the 2015 specification. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of assessments, upholding academic standards within our educational framework.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately and consistently mark student work to maintain overall assessment standards.
  • Submit designated samples to your Team Leader for review and quality control.
  • Adhere to established marking deadlines and milestones to ensure timely completion of assessments.
  • Complete all administrative tasks related to the marking process as specified.
Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in Economics education. You can qualify through one of the following pathways:

Teaching Experience
  • One academic year of teaching experience within the last 8 years, specifically in the relevant qualification and subject.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher status.
Lecturer Experience
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least one year of full-time teaching experience at the undergraduate level within the last 3 years.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
  • A high level of subject knowledge in Economics to accurately apply the mark scheme.
