Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stop Smoking Practitioner to join our team at Everyone Health Ltd. As a Stop Smoking Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering one-to-one and group stop smoking interventions across a wide range of settings in North Staffordshire.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering one-to-one and group stop smoking interventions to clients in various settings, including community, primary care, and in-patient settings.
  • Working flexibly across the county to ensure that skills, expertise, and knowledge are fully utilized.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Providing high-quality care and support to clients, including those from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in smoking cessation.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working in smoking cessation programs across various service settings.
  • NCSCT Accredited/Registered Stop Smoking Practitioner status.
  • Experience of working with adults in one-to-one and group environments to support positive lifestyle change.
  • Experience of using behavior change models within a work context.
  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural setting with patients of different cultures, genders, and ages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous service improvement and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
