We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for effectively delegating maintenance issues to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out.
  2. Audit and ensure compliance with the engineering data systems.
  3. Manage the team to ensure machine availability and reactively manage dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management.
  4. Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality.
  5. Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
  6. Ensure that designated buildings, plants and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when required.
  7. Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spending combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
  8. Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required.
  9. Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
  10. Ensure KPIs are met by working to the plan, including management of, and reporting.
  11. Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
  12. Manage contractors on-site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
  13. Ensure that the function operates by any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
