Job Title: Facility Maintenance Leader

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Leader to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual to lead our refrigeration case maintenance program across multiple site locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising a case maintenance technician, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times, developing good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  2. Ensure refrigeration case maintenance schedules are completed within agreed timescales.
  3. Stay aware of regulations and codes of practice applicable to the tasks.
  4. De-merchandise and re-merchandise refrigeration units.
  5. Utilize chemicals safely and effectively.
  6. Coordinate the activities of the case maintenance team.
  7. Notify the company helpdesk of procedural task conditions for action by the refrigeration engineer.
  8. Ensure sign off of completed works by the client.
  9. Work with the company and client to maintain laid-down standards of quality at all times.
  10. Comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the company.
  11. Support the achievement of company KPIs.
  12. Ensure all systems are working to optimum energy efficiency.
  13. Support other engineering disciplines to provide flexibility to service delivery.
  14. Ensure the maintenance of equipment and vehicle to ensure it is fit for purpose.
  15. Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and the company's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
  16. Attend training courses as and where necessary to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical and business developments.

People Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the Case Maintenance Technician.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Retail experience is desirable.
  2. Cleaning or maintenance industry experience is desirable.
  3. Good communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
  4. Achievement of maintenance program within agreed timescales is crucial.
  5. Speed and efficiency of work are key.
  6. A helpful and friendly manner is required.
  7. A customer-focused approach is necessary.
  8. Self-motivation is essential.
  9. Planning and organizing skills are required.
  10. A flexible and adaptable attitude to the job role is necessary.
  11. Requirement to undertake further personal development is essential.
  12. Willingness to work night shifts is required.
  13. To be mobile and have a full driving license is necessary.
  14. Maintenance of Health and Safety policy is crucial.
