Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Torque Consulting. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient sourcing and procurement of materials essential to our production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and monitor inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining optimal cost efficiency.
- Responsible for all procurement activities relating to the supply of goods, materials, and consumables in support of the Engineering team's planned and reactive works.
- Ensure competitive pricing, high-quality products, and adherence to company processes and customer expectations.
- Optimize lead times and ensure timely delivery through effective communication with the supply chain.
- Contribute to the success of a market-leading company driving innovation in manufacturing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
