Job Title: Programme Management Director

Advantage Group is seeking a highly skilled Programme Management Director to lead our charity's training and programmes department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective programmes that support victims of domestic abuse and vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and oversee all training and programmes, ensuring they are safe, effective, and aligned with current needs.
  2. Work closely with the leadership team to set goals and strategies for programme development and delivery.
  3. Represent the charity at public events and meetings, promoting our services and programmes.
  4. Manage budgets and monitor the quality of programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
  5. Research and identify new market opportunities for our charity's services, developing strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
  6. Supervise and support staff and volunteers, providing guidance and training as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Management qualifications and experience, with a strong understanding of domestic abuse policies and therapeutic models.
  2. Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a programme management context.
Skills:
  1. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  2. Good organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
Personal Qualities:
  1. Commitment to the charity's Christian values and a compassionate, respectful approach to service users.
  2. Flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Main Duties:
  1. Guide the strategic direction and operational objectives of the charity's training and programmes department.
  2. Ensure all programmes are safe, effective, and aligned with current needs, with a focus on continuous improvement and development.
  3. Identify and develop new market opportunities for the charity's services, working closely with the leadership team to capitalize on these opportunities.
  4. Manage staff supervision, training, and development, ensuring that all team members have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality programmes.
  5. Contribute to team culture and organizational growth, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Miscellaneous:
  1. Adhere to data protection and confidentiality laws, ensuring that all programme-related data is handled securely and in accordance with relevant regulations.
  2. Maintain records and report on programme outcomes, providing regular updates to the leadership team and other stakeholders.
  3. Participate in team events and ongoing training, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
  4. Provide managerial support on an on-call basis, ensuring that the charity's programmes are always well-supported and effective.
